1. Description of SMS Use Cases
We use SMS to provide you with timely updates regarding your bookkeeping and tax filing services. This includes, but is not limited to: appointment reminders, notifications of document requests, status updates on your T2 or personal tax filings, and urgent administrative alerts. Messages are intended to facilitate the professional relationship between you and our firm.
2. Opt-Out Instructions
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the short code or phone number from which you received the message. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time or contact our support team, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly by contacting our administrative team at [email protected] or calling our main office line.
4. Message and Data Rate Disclosure
As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies based on your service tier and the complexity of your tax situation. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
5. Carriers Liability Disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. Age Restriction
By using our services and opting into SMS communications, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.
